Alive & Kicking’s operations in Kenya and Zambia are self-sustainable on the sale of balls. The organisation’s headquarters in London sources grants for the start up of the operations, for their outreach programmes, and supports them through sourcing international sales.
Alive & Kicking’s London headquarters is funded through grants and donations and through a percentage on sales. The headquarters is responsible for governance, branding, international expansion and for coordinating the overall strategy of the international operation.

2008 (December) Report and Accounts
Alive & Kicking employs over 120 people in Kenya and Zambia, and will build on this in Ghana. We have a small office in the UK with 2 full time staff who are supported by our board and PR team.
Alive & Kicking jobs are in areas of high unemployment, and enable stitchers to support themselves and their extended families.
