Love Blossoms at A&K Zambia
Abraham Sakala, 25, and Alice Mubanda, 24, first met at Alive & Kicking when Alice started working for us in July 2008. Love blossomed and Abraham proposed to Alice a year later. She refused him the first time but then after some persistence from Abraham, gave in to his charms and they were engaged in September 2009. They married in a church hall, a short distance from Alive & Kicking premises, in the Lilanda compound in Lusaka on April 9th 2011. Guests included the Alive & Kicking stitching team, Country Director, and well wishing family and friends. ‘It was the most nervous but happiest day of my life’ said the groom, who has been working for Alive & Kicking Zambia since our inception in 2007. Alive & Kicking wishes this special couple the very best of luck as they both start their married life together.
