Alive & kicking thrilled to be supported by Arsenal soccer school Bahrain

If you’re looking for a challenge, the 19-lap fun run around the pitch of Arsenal Soccer School’s new home could be the event for you! Anyone that would like to take part can sign up now for the 6.4km event by completing the official application form. Participants can create their own teams, or run as individuals. Prizes will be given to the fastest age-group athlete, team-group and highest fund-raiser. This event is being held all over the world, including at the Emirates Stadium, Uganda, Barbados and many more.

Date: 31/3/2012, Time: 9-10 am, Place: Soccer City, Janabiya

Entry to the race costs 2BD, which includes an Arsenal wrist band and your own personal running number.

All funds raised from the event will go towards the soccer school’s charity “Alive & Kicking”, an African social enterprise that manufactures sports balls to provide balls for children, creates jobs for adults and promotes health education through sport. Please ask friends and family for a small donation for your efforts!

Food and drinks will be provided by Organic Foods and Café.
